Sexualized Saturdays: Aces Top 10 Headcanon Asexual Characters
All of those things are non-human and often unnatural, making the implication that those nonbinary individuals, too, are unnatural. In general, if you’re centering a species or non-human entity as nonbinary, make sure to approach nonbinary humans in the text itself, even if you do so simply by having the non-human entity aware of their gender in relation to human gender concepts. Canon Reliability Not all canon is created equal. When we, as fans of a property, examine lore to determine how useful it is to our purposes, we need to recognize that the source of what we believe is canon isn’t actually very useful.
I'm not sure I agree that is a huge problem. Even insane levels of influence on the world isn't overly common. The biggest issue I've seen are characters that are super "jaded", so they have very casual reactions to really huge events because they've seen it all or something. This is more of an issue with power levels than lore/canon, though.
Jonathan’s sexuality only helps to define who he is, and the issues he deals with because of it only makes him more interesting. Thanks to Mad Friends, I cannot view Jonathan as anything other than asexual. Even more interesting, Jonathan’s alter ego is not ace. Scarecrow totally experiences sexual attraction and that does create more layered issues for their characters.
I talk with a couple of Japanese users on social media and I was wondering what other words can I use to say "Oh, I have this theory", or "I imagine this and that about those characters". Community Headcanon always comes with risks- you're putting your creation out there and no matter how detailed of a vision you shared, the moment you invite others to incorporate it into their vision, it will morph. Sometimes for good, sometimes into something unrecognizable. Some communities credit the original creator for having a "veto" rule, but the best of these can outlive the original author's participation in the game, leading to no clear "head." There's also the risk that it'll go nowhere. Sometimes, your idea isn't picked up or used by anyone other than yourself... The biggest issue with subjects like this isn't necessarily the
headcanon character generator aspect.
Now obviously, in canon, this gets more complicated as time goes on and she takes on a more feminine appearance. However, having an alternate universe setting or a canon divergence setting where Haruhi actually comes to terms with her gender in a non-cis way is certainly a viable choice even without other trans characters for balance. I can certainly also see this going wrong if not well-considered, such as if someone goes the route of Haruhi being closeted. Often, when it comes to stories about closeted trans people, the story only revolves around them struggling with their transness or taking the leap to come out as trans. This goes back to the struggle narrative/trauma porn. It’s definitely a way for a trans writer to work through their own feelings about it, but I generally urge cis writers to stay away from anything approaching that.
Nonetheless, in recent years in entertainment and the arts, there is a rise in good writing for autistic characters. Plus, some shows such as the SHE-RA reboot officialized the autistic
headcanon generator for some of their characters. This a great progression from the subpar representation I had to deal with growing up, and I want to see more of them in media in the near future, hopefully with acceptance and diversity. In other words, all the stories exist, but not all of them "count" for whatever the current story that is being told.
AI can analyze trends, preferences, and successful character archetypes to suggest improvements and variations. This means that in 2024 and beyond, these generators will become even more intelligent and intuitive, offering creators an unprecedented level of support and innovation in character creation. Wow, yeah, I know this one is really out there, and hey, I don’t even like Fifty Shades of Grey. I hate it from the depths of my miserable soul. To make an incredibly long story short, Anastasia Steele’s relationship with Christian Grey is centered on abuse and coercion. Numerous times throughout the series he rapes and victim-blames her, and I plan to talk about how harmful that is in significantly more detail at a later date.

I occasionally create fairly deep backgrounds for my characters. Usually, I try to compartment that background headcanon away from the existing game's well established canon, specifically to avoid glaring contradictions. For example, a character maybe from another city, country, or even an entirely different dimension with its own history and take on superhumans.
