Kenya eTA for China Citizens

Chinese citizens traveling to Kenya must apply for a Kenya eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) before departure. The eTA is a mandatory online travel approval required for entry into Kenya for tourism, business, or short-term visits.

The application process is fully online and straightforward. Applicants from China need a valid passport, a recent passport-size photograph, and basic travel details such as accommodation information and return or onward travel plans. Once approved, the Kenya eTA is sent to the applicant by email.

Travelers must present the approved Kenya eTA along with their passport at the Kenyan port of entry. The eTA generally allows Chinese citizens to stay in Kenya for up to 90 days, subject to immigration approval.

Applying in advance is strongly recommended to avoid delays. Kenya offers Chinese travelers unforgettable experiences, including wildlife safaris, beautiful beaches, and rich cultural heritage.
