Mexico Tourist Card

The Mexico Tourist Card, officially known as the FMM (Forma Migratoria Múltiple), is a required entry document for foreign travelers visiting Mexico for tourism. It applies to visitors entering by air or land and is used for short-term stays such as holidays, sightseeing, or visiting relatives. Travelers must have a valid passport and complete the FMM form before or upon arrival. Immigration officers determine the authorized length of stay, which can be up to 180 days. The Tourist Card must be kept safe and returned when leaving the country to avoid penalties.
